The French city of Nice is located on the Cote d'Azur of the Mediterranean. Carnaval de Nice is held here every February. This year will be held from 12th to 28th February 2016!

Carnival in Nice has been practically since the Middle Ages, and in recent years it has been the most important winter event held on the Cote d'Azur. Every year Nice visits around a million visitors during the carnival, buy tickets online, and be among them!

The main parades have been Carnival Parade and Flower Parade for many years, featuring allegorical and variety cars with dancers, artists and giant puppets, street art and bands from all over the world.

At the opening ceremony of the festival on Friday 12.2. free entry, starting at 21.00. The next day at 2.30 pm, the Flower Parade parades begin, and at 21.00 the Carnival Parade of lights, a glamorous light show, requires a ticket to start.

Do not miss the Nice Carnival Run, the Socca Party on Sunday, February 14 at 10.00, and the Parade Nissard in the afternoon.

On Tuesday, February 16, the Carnival Parade of lights will be held at 9pm, following the Flower Parade Wednesday at 2:30 pm and Feb. 19. then the anticipated Lou Queernaval (gay parade).

For the remaining days the events are repeated again, the last day of the carnival, ie 28.2., Will take place from morning Carneval Dip with Zumba Party, Socca Party, Carnival Parade and at 21.00 attend the closing ceremony of the festival with fireworks.
