## Flies to Mallorca and coronavirus

Before arriving in Spain, it is necessary to fill in [the form](https://www.spth.gob.es/). An at most 72 hours old PCR test is required. The obligation to test does not apply to children under the age of six. Before returning to the Czech Republic, it is still necessary to undergo a PCR test, a maximum of 72 hours old, or an antigen test, 24 hours old.

It is not necessary to observe quarantine on arrival in Mallorca. When returning to the Czech Republic, partial quarantine is required.

One of the most attractive places for shopping is the metropolis of Palma de Mallorca. Here you will be interested in some local products. For example, a typical language pattern decorates the local lace of white fabric. Typical souvenirs also include, for example, artificial pearls (the basis is a glass ball coated with mother-of-pearl), ceramic products are known as majolica ceramics, and ceramic figurines of Siurells (previously accepting this gift from a lover meant confirmation of the relationship). Also, you will not spoil anything by choosing one of the delicious black wines or herbal liqueur Hierbas.

You will find hundreds of shops here that you cannot resist! The famous "shopping" streets in the center of old Palma, where you will discover typical shops with souvenirs and handicrafts. You can go to local markets for fresh vegetables, fruits, but also clothes. They are usually held every morning except Sunday.

Beautiful local restaurants offer real gastronomic experiences of Spanish, Italian, and even Arabic cuisine. Enjoy a typical tapas appetizer and cold gazpacho soup. Another specialty is **Sopes Mallorquines** (vegetables baked with bread). You will most often quench your thirst here with typical sangria, popular herbal liqueurs, or Spanish brand wines.

After strengthening, you can relax on one of the beautiful beaches. Not far from the ancient town of Santanyí lies the beautiful Mondragó Natural Park with several beaches and stunning natural scenery.

The village of Valldemossa is worth a visit. The biggest attraction is the Carthusian royal monastery of Cartoix de Valldemossa, which is known for the fact that the composer Frédéric Chopin once lived in these monastery cells with George Sand, his girlfriend. As part of the tour, you can see the monastery church, the old pharmacy with original equipment, the library, several monastery cells, and the museum.
