Food in Egypt
Egyptian cuisine combines Arabic, Mediterranean and French flavors. In small paved dining rooms you can usually taste typical dishes such as ful - beans flavored with garlic, onion and lemon, kosher - a mixture of rice, pasta, lentils and onions in a hot tomato sauce, and the best falafel in the world, or choose from many species of fish and seafood. Mezze (salads and dips) are usually served with the meat - hummus, baba ganuš, stuffed grape leaves, or a slimy but tasty green Molokhia soup.
Where to go in Egypt
We cannot begin other than with the only ancient surviving Wonder of the World. This is the pyramids of Giza - a place where important personalities, especially rulers, were buried in the past. The most important is undoubtedly the Pyramid of Cheops, which measures less than 140 meters.
A giant aquarium and a marine biology museum can be found in the popular resort of Hurghada. In addition to the aquarium itself, which boasts about 4 million liters of water and more than a hundred animals, you will also walk through an artificial rainforest.
The popular Valley of the Kings is located west of Luxor. The sacred burial ground of the most important personalities of the society of that time, ie the pharaohs and the aristocracy, lies on the west bank of the Nile. It should be noted that some of the graves found here, including the famous Tutankhamun, are open to the public.
