Try first-hand at the start of the men’s giant slalom World Cup race on the famous Gran Rise. Located in the beautiful Italian ski resort of Alta Badia in South Tyrol, the Gran Risa track is less than 1.3 km long and overcomes an elevation gain of 448 meters.
In the north of Italy you will find the Trametsch ski slope in Plose. It is 9 km long and pleasantly rugged with an interesting profile, it overcomes an elevation gain of 1400 meters. With a little skill, Trametsch will also go down a beginner skier. From the slopes there is an amazing view of the Dolomites and Brixen.
In the heart of the Dolomites in the Val Gardena valley in South Tyrol is the 10.5 km long La Longia ski slope. Perfect skiing and also amazing views of the Dolomites are just waiting for you here. The beginning of the route is at the top of Seceda, from where it falls in slight bends to Cuca Saddle. This skiing is worth it! They drive around the rocks with radiant waterfalls and ice falls. Every skier will conquer this slope without any major problems.
Snowy France is beautiful
Take the famous Vallée Blanche in Chamonix, a dream of almost every skier. Here you will find a 20 km long descent through open terrain, where the track descends by 2,700 meters. The views here are simply unbeatable. In the middle of the exit, stop for tea at the Requin Hut mountain hut. The track is passable even for intermediate skiers.
Skiing with children
The 13 km long descent with an elevation gain of 2205 meters in the resort of Les 2 Alpes will be conquered by almost every skier and his children. This one of the longest alpine trails leads from the highest point of the glacier at an altitude of 3500 m to the small village of Mont de Lans, which lies below the level of the aforementioned main accommodation resort, Les 2 Alpes.
