The international airport Köln / Bonn is located 16 kilometers northeast of the center of Bonn and 15 kilometers southeast of Cologne. It is the sixth largest airport in Germany, handling a total of 10.47 million passengers in 2007.

They are used by two terminals. Terminal 1 is used almost exclusively by Germanwings and Lufthansa. Air Berlin, TUIfly, Turkish Airlines, Condor Airlines, SunExpress, WizzAir and CSA operate mainly on the larger Terminal 2. From the airport to the city center, you can take the Airport-Express SB 60 buses or the taxi service waiting in front of the terminals.

Cologne / Bonn International Airport is quite suitable for overnight because it is clean and offers enough benches. At Terminal 2, you can get the most out of the upper floor near check-in counters.

The four car rentals are open from around 7:00 am to 11:00 pm on weekdays and the first branch opens at 7:30 on weekends. You can rent a car from Avis, Europcar, Hertz or Sixt counters.
